n3rdyg0ggles' Fanbot (name unknown) Makeup Cover
NerdyGoggles’ fanbot seemed to be pretty cool, so I went ahead and did a requestless cover.
A lot of room for contrast around the eyelines and cheekbones, which I took advantage of. I obviously had to incorporate my beard and mustache, sorry if that takes away from the prettiness that n3rdyg0ggles has created.
I’ve never done blush on a bot before, that was mighty interesting. Totally forgot the copper lips. Sorry. xD.
To n3rdyg0ggles, I would give the following suggestions:
In regards to the rivets, less is more, as long as they’re detailed. If they’re too small, you don’t have time, or the resources, a black dot will do. But if you can manage it, make a nice thin circle and draw a line through it, and make a screw head. It gives a lot of character. Then go under with a corroded blue or green and make a drip for dimension and age.
As far as the makeup you seem to be using goes, they’re all fine colors. I’d just spread them out more and go a bit thicker, perhaps layer. The only thing I would recommend you invest in is a dark black. Most people spend anywhere from 10 to 40 dollars on black makeup. I just go to the dollar store and buy their liquid eyeliner, cut open the back of the tube, get out all the black makeup and use it like cream makeup. Because it’s eyeliner, it’s sensitive on skin, dries quickly, and has a rich black color. But because it’s DOLLAR store eyeliner, it’s very inexpensive.
You have a really awesome bot! I’d love to see more photos of her.
If you or anyone has any questions or request for covers, just shoot me a message. I do covers with suggestions, and covers where I stay out of your business lol.
Have a nice day! ^_^

HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS! Thank you so much for making this wonderful attempt at my fanbot Rosaline makeup! :D it’s a really interesting version and I can see you’re a hell of a lot more experienced with detailed makeup than I am. Thank you so much for the advice as well, as I’ve so far only worn this makeup twice (once in that photo and once at a mini con) and when people give me advice on the details I’m definitely taking it into account.
If you want to see any more photos, I’ve got a couple of random ones somewhere in my archive from cherricon back in July (and when I say random, I mean including an embarrassingly random selfie) and I’m hoping to do a few more bits of art of her soon since the only picture I’ve ever drawn of her has the original longer hair and different faceplate details.
Other than that I’m seriously flattered anyone would go to the length of trying to recreate my fanbot’s look! Really well done and thank you for sharing it!

Endless list of things that should have been in the movies
↳ Deathly Hallows, p 237

“You have only ever seen me amongst the Order, or under Dumbledore’s protection at Hogwarts! You don’t know how most of the wizarding world sees creatures like me! When they know of my affliction, they can barely talk to me! Don’t you see what I’ve done? Even her own family is disgusted by our marriage, what parents want their only daughter to marry a werewolf? And the child—the child—”
